Fund Raising System

The Fund Raising System has been developed as an extension to the Focus Constituent System (see below). It uses the same architecture as Focus.

The Fund Raising System is designed for the specific needs of organizations like the YMCA and Jewish Community Centers. It provides a four-level campaign organization, consisting of campaigns, sub-campaigns, divisions and teams. Donation goals can be established and tracked at each level of the campaign and for individual campaigners.

Support for prospect tracking includes contact history, printed pledge sheets, and analysis reports which show prospect status by campaign worker and in relation to the overall structure of the campaign.

Support is provided for matching gifts and gifts through third parties (e.g. United Way).

Focus: Constituent Management System

Focus is the result of a collaboration between the YMCA of San Francisco and Eagle Research.

The San Francisco YMCA had specific needs which were not being met by their existing software or by other Constituency systems on the market.

Focus is a comprehensive membership management system designed specifically for the needs of YMCA's and similar organizations, such as Jewish Community Centers. This is a web-based application which supports multiple branches. It includes an extensive array of features including: multiple levels of security, exports to accounting systems, comprehensive support for automatic bank drafts, three-level audit accountability, point of sale support, facility access, provision for financial assistance plans and third-party payers, group memberships, flexible unified billing, and support for camping and childcare programs.

Focus is a pure Java application, using java servlets for communication between the front-end applets and business objects hosted in an application server. The business object layer uses JDBC to communicate with Oracle 9i.
