AR Insight: Healthcare Receivables Analysis
AR Analytics and Eagle worked together to develop a new approach to identifying specific problems in the collection of healthcare receivables-a method which significantly improves an organization's rate of collection while spotlighting specific areas that appear to be the cause of the collection problems in the first place. As a result of the analyses produced by this product, AR Insight, a healthcare organization can not only improve collections immediately, but can also correct underlying problems with existing business processes. The Windows version of AR Insight is currently in commercial operation. It was written with C++ Builder, making extensive use of STL. The next stage of development will be to incorporate AR Insight's analysis logic into a web site which provides users with sophisticated views of their analyses and varying levels of detail and from many points of view. Clinical Performance Comparison
This is a Windows application named "Clinical Compass" which provides healthcare managers and decision-makers with a tool to access, analyze and present clinical information from hospital providers. Users of this system are generally hospitals, who group their own clinical performance information with that of other hospitals having similar operating characteristics. They can then compare the values for their hospital with benchmark values based on the clinical performance of these other hospitals. The output of the analysis is in the form of spreadsheets and graphs. Market Insights is a healthcare research and analysis firm that specializes
in decision support analyses, databases and software. Managed Care Contracts System
This is a Windows implementation of a "Contract Letter System" originally developed for Alta Bates Hospital. It includes updated features which address current needs of hospitals in dealing with managed-care contracts. This version of the system also supports extensive analysis of the performance of a hospital's managed-care contracts in comparison to each other. This gives the hospital's contract negotiators important insight into the effect of the terms and conditions of existing contracts, and should help them negotiate better contracts.
